Crossing...Italy Cinematic Time-Lapse Short Film Directed By Shawn Reeder

“After a life changing trip in Rome last summer, I knew I had to return and capture the beauty of Italy through timelapse cinematography. This winter I spent almost 3 weeks wondering around the north of Italy exploring the ancient cities of Florence and Venice, discovering the quaint villages of the Italian Riviera, and reveling in the beauty of the Italian Alps. This short film captures the spirit of my trip crossing Italy.”

Autumn in my mountains cinematic time-lapse short film directed by Gabriele Prato 2014

“Autumn is, together with Winter, the season I prefer. Its colours, as well as its foggy days, make it fascinating and picturesque. In dull Autumn days I like spending my time in the mountains hoping to climb up the clouds that look like the waves of the sea. Very weird situations to find. It took a lot of sacrifices and patience: sometimes the conditions seemed to be good but, often, the fog was too high.

This timelapse short film tells “The Autumn in my Mountains”: colours, fogs, snow. A two-year shooting, more than 40000 RAWs shot.”
